Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist experience - Required
- 3-5 years of IR/Interventional Vascular experience - Preferred
- Travel experience - Preferred
- Experience with complex vascular interventions including:
- Pulmonary thrombectomy - Required
- AAA procedures - Required
- TEVAR - Required
- FEVAR - Required
- Multiple wire exchanges and long-wire techniques - Required
- Over-the-wire (OTW) balloon procedures - Required
- Laser, Penumbra, Inari, and Shockwave devices - Required
- Ability to circulate, monitor, and scrub all interventional vascular procedures - Required
- Experience managing vascular access sites, sheath removal, hematoma assessment and management - Required
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy, lesion recognition, and radiation safety - Required
- Ability to assist physicians during high-risk and emergency procedures - Required
License
- ARRT-R with VI or CV credential OR RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) - Required
