Description

Electrophysiology (EP)

Schedule

Shift Options:
- 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule:
- 5 x 8-hour shifts or
- 4 x 10-hour shifts

Required

Required Experience

Cath Lab experience required
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required
Experience assisting with invasive cardiac procedures
Experience with sterile scrub technique

Required Skills

Electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping
Cardiac ablation procedures
Implantable cardiac devices (Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices)
Sterile scrub technique
Hemodynamic monitoring
Knowledge of EP recording systems
Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
One of the following:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) – Preferred/Required
- RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
- RT (Radiologic Technologist)
