Description

RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location Requirement

Must live 50 miles or more away from the facility

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years RN experience
Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Experience in acute care hospital setting required

Required Certifications & Licensure

Active RN License (state/district of assignment)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS certification (Stroke Scale)

Required Skills & Systems

Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
Continuous cardiac monitoring
Stroke patient care
NIH Stroke Scale assessments
Interpretation of telemetry rhythms
Acute care patient management
Strong clinical judgment in hospital setting
EMR experience: Cerner (Required)

Required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
