RN – Medical-Surgical (Night Shift)

Must live 100 miles or more away from the facility

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years RN experience
Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) experience

Required Certifications & Licensure

Active RN license (state/district of assignment)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS certification
CPI Certification:
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) – NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training required

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program

Preferred Education

BSN (Highly desired)

Required Skills

Med/Surg nursing care across adult patient population
Comprehensive patient assessment (initial and ongoing)
Interpretation of patient condition and clinical data
Age-specific and culturally competent care
Admission assessment completion within required timeframes
Documentation and regulatory compliance
Patient and family-centered care
Ability to manage multiple patient needs efficiently
De-escalation and behavioral management (CPI training required)
