Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Start Date: ASAP
Experience Required: 2+ years of CVOR experience
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Certification Required: BCLS
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse with strong cardiovascular surgical experience. Candidates must be proficient in cardiac surgery and have experience in at least one additional surgical specialty (such as vascular, thoracic, general surgery, neuro, ortho, or robotics). Flexibility is essential, as call responsibilities vary based on department needs.
Call Requirements (6-Week Cycle)
Weekday Call
- 2 Primary Calls: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM
- 2 Secondary Calls: 10:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Weekend Call
- 2 Primary Weekend Calls:
- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, or
- 6:30 PM – 6:00 AM
- 2 Secondary Weekend Calls:
- Same 12-hour shift structure
- Weekend call coverage may be Saturday, Sunday, or both, depending on department needs.
Scheduling & Contract Details
- Block scheduling may be considered at manager discretion.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission.
