Overview

Join our care team as an RN on the Med/Ortho unit providing progressive-level nursing for patients with a focus on assessment, clinical planning, and continuous evaluation. You’ll independently deliver and coordinate nursing care in alignment with accepted standards, while also supporting restorative treatment through therapy, education, and thoughtful collaboration. This role offers a Day shift (0700–1930) schedule with weekends included, guaranteed hours when available, and an additional $90.00 rate increase.

Required Skills

• Registered Nurse clinical capabilities including ongoing health assessment
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Health teaching and counseling to support patient understanding and outcomes
• Experience supporting therapy and treatment that is restorative and supportive
• Documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Competence with delegation, supervision, and consultation
• Resource utilization to support patient care needs
• Ability to refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Preferred Education: BSN
• Education Required: ASN (graduation from an accredited School of Nursing)
• Experience Required: 1+ years of experience

• RN License: Current Single State or Compact RN License (required)
• BLS: American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
• ACLS: American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
• NIHSS: (required)
• TNCC: Preferred
• Schedule: 12-hour Days, 0700–1930
• Weekends: Yes
• May float to other departments within scope based on business need
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
