Description

Make a profound impact on the youngest learners in Phoenix, AZ! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to inspire a classroom and provide vital developmental support for the 2026-2027 school year.
 
Position Overview:

  • Design, plan, and implement individualized instruction for early childhood learners using developmentally appropriate teaching methods and resources.
  • Assesses student learning through a variety of formal and informal methods, maintaining accurate, compliance-ready records and communicating regularly with parents regarding progress.
  • Creates a positive classroom environment while collaborating with families, colleagues, and community agencies to foster holistic student development.
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals that support student growth.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, or equivalent
  • Valid Arizona Early Childhood Special Education Certification OR a Special Education Cross-Categorical Certificate combined with an Early Childhood Endorsement (Required)
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
