Travel RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Shift Options:
- Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Block Scheduling Available (Especially for Night Shift)
Unit Overview
Join an 18-bed ICU providing care to critically ill patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. This high-acuity unit specializes in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac care, neurological emergencies, respiratory failure, and critical care interventions.
The ICU is expected to expand to 27 beds, offering travelers exposure to a growing and dynamic critical care environment.
Unit Information
- 18-Bed ICU
- Planned Expansion to 27 Beds
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
- Typical: 1:2
- Occasionally 1:3 for overflow or stepdown-level patients
- Dedicated Charge Nurse
- House Supervisor Available 24/7

- Critically Ill Medical & Surgical Patients
- Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric Patients
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 Years of Critical Care Experience
- Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required
- No Travel Duos

- TNCC
- CRRT Experience
- IABP Experience
- Impella Experience
