Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / IMCU
Assignment Details
- Specialty: PCU / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- First-Time Travelers Accepted
Important Notes
- All previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months before qualifying for a travel assignment.
- Active Compact RN License accepted at all Swedish facilities.
- Free LYFT transportation between Swedish campuses is provided for travelers during the assignment.
Position Overview
Seeking experienced IMCU-level Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit caring for complex cardiac, respiratory, renal, and medical patients. Candidates must have recent Intermediate Care experience and be comfortable managing cardiac drips, post-cardiac catheterization patients, respiratory support devices, and advanced monitoring.

Requirements
- Active RN License (Compact Accepted)
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent Acute Care Experience
- Must Have Recent IMCU/Stepdown/PCU Experience

Floating Requirements
Floating may be required to:
- IMCU
- Telemetry Units
- Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)
- Other Swedish Campuses within a 30-mile radius
Edmonds campus staff rarely float; however, flexibility is required.

- Night Shift Assignment
- Weekend and holiday rotation per unit needs
- Travelers should be comfortable floating within competency level
