Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel Assignment)

Location: Hancock, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit in a 36-bed hospital with Level III Trauma and Level I Maternal and Neonatal designations. The position is night shift with 36 guaranteed hours per week and every third weekend required. No call responsibilities.

Unit Profile

• Unit: Family Birthing Center
• Beds: 5 LDRP, 3 Overflow, 3 Triage
• Patient Ratios: AWHONN staffing guidelines
• Equipment: Main OR, Epidural, Nitrous, Monica Novi wireless monitoring
• Electronic Health Records: Meditech, OBIX
• Patient Population: Low to high risk, including low volume substance use disorder (SUD) patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 3 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in OB/GYN, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Night
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend: Every third weekend required
• No float or call requirements

Dress Code

• Scrubs of any color allowed (no cartoon characters)
• No blue jeans permitted

• Experience with a variety of patient acuity levels is expected
