Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift, 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit with occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirement.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Stepdown nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR; competency will be tested on day one.
• Ability to read Telemetry; competency will be tested on day one.

Additional Information

• Start date is July 20th unless the RN is a returning traveler within 9 months.
• Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; canceled hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
• Agencies must ensure contract details (start/end dates, RTO) exactly match the confirmation page to maintain vendor status.
