Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (Neuro Focus) – 36 or 48 Hour Contracts

This position features excellent schedule flexibility, offering both 36-hour and 48-hour weekly configurations depending on your preference.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Chesapeake, VA (Coastal Virginia area)
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); Includes Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation
• Target Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule Options: Choose between a standard 3x12 (36 hours) or a high-yield 4x12 (48 hours) contract (Overtime paid after 48 hours).

Patient Population & Ratios:

• Ratios: Dynamic 1:2 to 1:3 care model based on patient acuity.
• Populations: Heavy focus on Neurosurgical and post-stroke care, alongside Respiratory/Renal Failure, Trauma, Sepsis, and post-cardiac cath.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of critical care experience preferred. Strong Neuro ICU experience is required (including post-neurosurgical EVD and stroke management).
• System Proficiencies: Must be completely proficient with EPIC charting.
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Licensure: Active Virginia or Compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
• Background: Clean background and unblemished license history required by the facility.

• Radius Restriction: Must reside 50+ miles away from the facility (Driver's License required upfront for address verification).
  
  For 48 hours pay package is $2786/week
