🏥 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable short-term acute care hospital in Lancaster, SC. This is a great opportunity to work in a 97-bed facility with strong clinical support, modern technology, and a collaborative care environment.

📅 Assignment Details

• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights – 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Patient Ratio: 1:6–1:7
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float: Yes – to similar acuity units
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

💼 What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and neurological conditions, including CVA
• Perform cardiac monitoring and respond to emergencies
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and IV therapies, including central and peripheral line care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Adhere to infection control protocols and isolation precautions

✅ Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years (Med Surg required)
• Travel Experience: Required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• License: Active SC RN license or Compact license (in hand before start)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
  • NIHSS (Required)

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• IV starts and maintenance
• Strong clinical judgment in acute care settings
