Overview

A Trexlertown‑area healthcare facility is seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist for a 16‑week assignment. This role supports a busy women’s health and general imaging department, performing a wide range of diagnostic studies including OB, GYN, and general ultrasound exams.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality general and OB/GYN ultrasound exams
• Conduct transvaginal GYN scans, US‑guided procedures, and obstetric studies including:
  • Viability
  • Growth
  • Biophysical profiles (BPP)
  • Cervical length
  • Doppler studies
• Ensure accurate imaging, proper patient positioning, and adherence to safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to maintain efficient workflow
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, documentation accuracy, and compliance with facility protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS – required
• ARDMS OB/GYN – required
• MFM experience optional (not required)
• BLS – required
• Strong competency in general and OB/GYN ultrasound techniques
