L&D RN – Night Shift (3x12, 19:00–07:30) role, here are the key screening points:

Hard Stops / Must Have

• 3–5+ years of high-risk L&D experience (5 years preferred)
• Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Must be able to circulate C-sections
• Must function as Baby Nurse during deliveries
• Must provide newborn care, including:
  • Newborn assessment
  • Eye prophylaxis
  • Vitamin K ("eyes and thighs")
• EPIC experience required (hard stop)
• Must have current NRP and BLS
• Must provide current supervisory references
• Must provide current Nursys verification
• Must pass clinical review

Unit Details

• 500–600 deliveries/month
• Average census: 15 patients/day
• 31 beds / 31 rooms
• 4 ORs
• High-risk, high-volume L&D environment

Floating

• May float to:
  • Postpartum
  • Antepartum
  • Sister facilities with Mother/Baby units

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS
• AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Advanced

• Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• First-time travelers accepted
