Job Description

IR Tech
4 - 10 hours shift - Monday - Friday 0730-1800 with one Saturday hour shift (0800-1600) in a 13-week period.
Weekend call is Friday 1600 through Monday 0730, and this RT would be assigned weekend call 1-2 times in a 13-week assignment. In addition to call, the technologist will be scheduled "backup". As we are a procedural area the work is not always complete at the end of their scheduled shift. The expectation is once a week the agency technologist may be assigned backup.

Interventional Radiology performs an array of procedures ranging from central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, Gastrostomy tubes, Perc Nephrostomy tubes, Peripheral artery disease leg cases and other vascular related procedures.
Certifications: ARRT R and BLS required, ARRT VI preferred
Daily Caseload per tech: 6-8 procedures/employee

Years of experience REQ: 1 (2 years preferred)
First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes ? with 2 years of experience
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes - within facility and their scope of care
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N): No
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
Locals accepted: No. What is the local radius rule? 75 miles
Pending State License accepted: (Y/N) Yes
RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
Special Requirements: C-Arm and Contrast experience required
PREFERRED: Siemens, GE ultrasound
