Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join a traveler-friendly vascular team serving both outpatient and inpatient populations of all ages. The ideal candidate will have dedicated vascular ultrasound experience, strong EPIC proficiency, and current RVT or RVS certification.
Schedule
- Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (32 hours/week)
- Hours: Monday–Wednesday & Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend Rotation: Required (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, rotating schedule)
- On-Call: None
- Call Back: None
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications & Credentials
- BLS Certification
- One of the following:
- ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
- North Carolina state licensure not required

- Upper & Lower Extremity Arterial Studies
- Upper & Lower Extremity Venous Studies
- DVT/Reflux Studies
- Vein Mapping
- Renal Studies
- Mesenteric Studies
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Studies
- Endograft Surveillance
- Aortic Studies
- PVR/Segmental Pressure Testing
- Hemodialysis Graft Evaluations
- Iliac Vein Studies
- Arterial Bypass Graft Evaluations (Fem-Fem, Fem-Pop, Loop Grafts, etc.)
Patient Population & Common Diagnoses
- Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
- Heart Failure (HF)
- Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
- Venous Insufficiency
- Renal, Celiac, and Superior Mesenteric Artery (SMA) Stenosis
- Renal Transplant Patients
- Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)
