Description

PLEASE NOTE WE NEED TRAVELERS WITH START DATES 30-60 DAYS OUT. RNFAs MUST GO THROUGH MEDICAL AFFAIRS CREDENTIALING WITH CAMC AND THIS PROCESS CAN TAKE 30-60 DAYS (typically faster but need to allow enough time)

 

4x10s Shifts 0645-1715 which would also involve some weekday and weekend on-call duties.
Years of experience REQ: 2 Years RN experience minimum
No First Timers Accepted

 

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT:
- BSN, MSN or DNP
-Successful completion of an accredited AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) training program
-Current CNOR certification in perioperative nursing by the ABSNC
- Current active and unencumbered license to practice in the state in West Virginina as an RN or APN in the primary scope of practice
Weekend REQ: There will be call
Certs REQ: BLS
-Skills Requirements: Robotics, Urology, Thoracic
-Skills Preferred: General OR
-Travel Experience Preferred
Call Requirements: Yes - Self schedule will have some weeknights and weekends, rotating schedule
Pending License accepted: can submit with pending license - must have active to start
Special Requirements: Robotics, Thoracic, Urology experience

 

 

Submission Requirements:
-Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
-Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
-All candidates are required to complete a fit test in advance using one of the approved masks.
-The candidate’s agency is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the fit test, with all available options explored.
-Candidates may be required to travel up to 100 miles to complete the fit test.

 

-ONE PDF MUST CONTAIN: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), License/Certification verification (pulled within 2 days of sub date – clean lic. required – hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), Driver's License, SSN.
