We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ICU Nurse Manager (RN) for an interim leadership opportunity at a highly respected healthcare facility in Billings, Montana. 📅 Assignment Details
- Start Date: July 6, 2026
- End Date: October 3, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible based on unit needs)
- Hours: ~40 hours/week
- On-Call: Occasional availability for urgent unit needs (evenings/weekends)
- Setting: ICU (Critical Care)
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of ICU nursing operations
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care
- Drive clinical excellence and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet clinical and operational goals
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and resource utilization
- Lead recruitment, retention, and staff development, including mentoring and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, etc.)
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and quality metrics
- Support strategic planning and departmental growth initiatives
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and engagement

✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (MT or Compact – must transfer within 60 days)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
- ICU experience required
