Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department / Med-Surg

Schedule:
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
• Start Date: July 27, 2026

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Deliver comprehensive Med-Surg and Acute Care nursing services
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• May be required to assist in Long-Term Care (LTC) as needed

Required Experience:
• Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Medical-Surgical/Acute Care experience required
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Active Alaska RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Additional Details:
• All certifications and Alaska license must be active at the time of submission
• Hospital-provided housing included at no cost
• Rental car not provided
• Housing is located close to the hospital
• No pets allowed in hospital housing
