Job Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting. The LPN works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with examinations and procedures, and ensure efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered.
• Perform patient intake, triage, and follow-up communications.
• Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the provider.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Support daily clinic operations and provide excellent customer service to patients and families.

Experience in the following settings is preferred:

• Family Practice
• Behavioral Health
• Internal Medicine
• Similar outpatient clinic environments

Required Qualifications:

• Active Hawaii LPN License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Experience working in an outpatient or clinic setting
