Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Infusion

Location: Atlanta, GA 30342

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
 

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology Nursing experience required
• Active RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy Certification required
• Chemotherapy administration experience required

Department Overview

Join a busy Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center providing specialized care to oncology and hematology patients. The RN will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive infusions, and select hematology treatments while collaborating closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary team members.
 

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies safely and accurately
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and treatment-related side effects
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and symptom management
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status throughout treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered oncology care

Candidate Preferences

• Strong outpatient infusion experience preferred
• Excellent IV access and vascular access skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced infusion environment
• Strong communication and patient education skills
