·        Number of Beds : 4

·        Patient Ratios : 1:1 immediate post surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3

·        Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Primary Nursing

·        Type of equipment

·        Documentation system:  Meditech Expanse

·        Scheduling requirements: 36 hours, 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks

·        Floating policy:  Will take same ratio as unit floated to

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: 1-2 years of fresh cardiac surgery patients with direct primary recovery

Advanced skills needed: ACLS, Balloon pump, impella training, hemosphere or acumen trained

Procedures performed on unit:  New cardiac surgery program launch

Certifications Required: ACLS

Dress Code: (Required uniform)  Navy Blue
