Perm - Physicist - Radiation (Days) Des Moines, IA @
***$25,000 SIGN ON BONUS***
***Eligible for Relocation Assistance***
***Eligible for Stipend Payments up to $20,000 while in residency***
***Will consider possible remote work***
Shift Notes: Mostly M-F days, but some evening and weekends as needed.
Weekend Requirements: As Needed
On Call Requirements: No
Education:
- Master of Science in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field required. Doctor's degree in Medical Physics or Physics related discipline preferred. [REQUIRED]
Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in a clinical setting preferred.[HIGHLY PREFFERED]
- Completed Residency within past 5 years [REQUIRED]
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Medical Physicists. [REQUIRED]
- Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Radiology. [REQUIRED]
- Eligible to be an Authorized Medical Physicist by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
- Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent in therapeutic Medical Physics. This is required within 3 years of hire.
