Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Night Shift | Hagerstown, MD | 13 Weeks

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Facility: Meritus Medical Center
Shift: Nights, 4x12s (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Thursday–Saturday set schedule / Every Other Weekend Coverage

Requirements

• Maryland Respiratory Therapist License required
• CRT or RRT certification required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Pediatric and NICU experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Clinical Experience Required

• Mechanical ventilation management
• CPAP/BiPAP setup and monitoring
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Intubation assistance and extubation
• Arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
• Bronchoscopy support
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Aerosol and nebulizer therapies
• Emergency airway management
• Patient transport
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care

• Floating required within scope of practice
• Block scheduling not available
• One RTO request allowed at submission
• Local candidates considered with facility approval
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (No Exemptions)

Traveler Notes

• Local radius: 50 miles
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 1 year
• Travelers returning after an assignment must observe a 90-day break after 1 year of service
