Description

• Role: Occupational Therapist
• Specialty: Occupational Therapy
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 8am-4pm
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: as needed
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Required Certifications : Must have a current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and current BLS/CPR.
• Years of Experience: Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred but not required. Effective oral and written communication skills in English with additional languages preferred but not required.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Ability to assess patients needs; identifies and initiates appropriate occupational therapy interventions; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional occupational therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short- and long-term goals. Recommends change to physician, if needed. • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Wide variety of neuro diagnosis - CVA, Parkinsons, Spinal Cord, SCI, TBI, Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Amputee, Medically Complex
