ICU Nurses needed for South Charleston, WV -  $2437.00 a week!  36 hours 


13-week travel contract, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 36 hours/week guaranteed; every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

• 18-bed ICU (expanding to 27 beds); nurse:patient ratio is 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 for overflow or PCU downgrade).
   
• Required: Active, unrestricted WV RN license, BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications, ICU and Neuro ICU competency exams.
   
• Preferred: PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications; experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella devices.
   
• Minimum two years of critical care experience and prior travel experience required; no travel duos accepted.
   
• Must be able to titrate critical drips (Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin) and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and telemetry.
   
• Common patient types: Sepsis, acute MI, renal, post-vascular procedures, strokes, TIA, seizures, lumbar drains, ARDS, and CV procedures.
   
• Charge nurse primarily without patients; hospitalist in-house 24/7; RT available as needed (not stationed in ICU).
   
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips; no monitor techs on unit.
   
• Floating required to Stepdown, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or ED boarding as needed; navy scrubs required; EPIC charting
