Overview

A Helena‑area healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13‑week assignment supporting a busy imaging department. This is a day‑shift, no‑call role ideal for a sonographer with strong OB/GYN and general ultrasound skills who can step in and contribute immediately.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality OB/GYN and general ultrasound exams
• Conduct studies including General Abdomen, AAA, and Breast (breast experience preferred but not required)
• Ensure accurate imaging, proper patient positioning, and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow
• Maintain equipment readiness, documentation accuracy, and compliance with facility standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS OB/GYN – required
• Experience with General Abdomen, AAA, and Breast (breast not required)
• BLS – required
• Ability to work independently in a day‑shift outpatient/inpatient mix
• Permanent address must be more than 70 miles from the facility
