RN - Med/Surg
Olney, IL
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights 3x12
Guaranteed hours: 36
Hourly Pay Rate
W2 Pay Rate RT (Regular Time) $37.00
W2 Pay Rate OT (Over Time) $55.50
Weekly Pay Package (Taxable + Nontaxable)
> W2 Wage (RT+OT based on expected hrs) $1,332.00
> Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem $1,246.00
Total Weekly Gross Pay Package $2,578.00
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Experience with patient assessment, care planning, and nursing interventions
- Experience with IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency response
- Experience with chest tubes, central lines, TPN, thrombolytic therapy, and blood glucose monitoring preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
License:
- Active Illinois RN License in good standing required
On-Call:
- No On-Call Requirement
Weekend Requirements:
- Weekends required as needed
Holiday Requirements:
- Holidays required as needed
Facility Experience:
- Previous Acute Care Hospital Med/Surg experience preferred
- Experience caring for Adult and Geriatric patients
- Experience with:
- Patient Assessment
- Care Planning
- Medication Administration
- IV Access (Peripheral & Central Lines/PICC)
- Chest Tube Management
- PCA Pumps
- TPN Administration
- Emergency Response
- Patient Education
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration
