Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing diagnostic-quality images, operating MRI equipment, and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Duties
Perform MRI examinations accurately and efficiently according to physician orders and imaging protocols.

• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, devices, and contraindications.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness before submitting for interpretation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, procedures, and contrast administration.
• Follow MRI safety standards, infection control guidelines, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

• Assist with department workflow, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives.
  
  Requirements
  Minimum 2 years of recent experience.
  Current BLS and ARRT MR certifications.

  Cardiac Experience is a major plus
  Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role
