Description
Travel Dialysis RN – Iowa
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 36 Hours/Week
EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dialysis care to inpatient populations, including ICU and telemetry patients.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments and monitor patient responses.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately in Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Operate and troubleshoot Fresenius 2008T dialysis machines.
- Float between designated facilities as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN License or Compact Multistate License
- Minimum 24 months of recent dialysis experience
- Inpatient dialysis experience required
- Telemetry reading and measurement experience required
- Experience using Fresenius dialysis machines required
- Acute dialysis experience highly preferred
- Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis experience preferred
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
