Emergency Department (ED) RN – Nights | 36H | Every Other Weekend

Position Details

Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Night Shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36H available

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred
Candidates with 1 year of ED experience will be considered (manager review required)
First-time travelers accepted with strong Emergency Department experience and skills

Required Licensure & Certifications

Maryland RN License
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIH Stroke Scale Certification
CPI

Unit Information

Average Daily Census: 130 patients
Number of ED Beds: 47
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
Patient Population: Infant through Geriatric
Patient Diagnoses: Wide variety of diagnoses in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department setting

Scheduling Requirements

Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within specialty
No pre-scheduled on-call requirements
