Description

ER RN | Wausau, WI | 13-Week Travel Contract

Weekly Hours: 48 Hours Guaranteed
Shift: 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Days/Evenings)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
OT: Paid after 48 hours worked

Requirements

Active Wisconsin RN License
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (AHA or ARC)
Minimum 5 years of ER experience
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (Required)
Level II Trauma experience required
Epic charting experience required

Schedule Details

Primarily 12-hour shifts:
- 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Occasional flexibility to:
- 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Level II Trauma Center
18-Bed Emergency Department
Stroke Certified Facility
High-acuity patient population including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, pediatric, and geriatric cases
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3-4 patients
Epic EMR & Pyxis Medication System

Additional Details

May float to nearby Aspirus locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
On-call requirement: 12 hours every 6 weeks
30-minute response time when on call
Up to 36 hours of low-census time permitted during the contract
Scrub color: Any color

Important: Candidates must reside outside the 50-mile radius rule to qualify for travel rates.
