Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: 2×12-hour shifts + 2×8-hour shifts (days)
Call: Required (weeknights + weekends)

💰 Compensation

Travel Package: $2,646/week

Taxable Pay: $1,120/week
Housing Stipend: $966/week
Meals & Incidentals: $560/week

🩺 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room team at a leading hospital in Hartford, CT.

This position requires strong experience in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, supporting complex cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.

🫀 Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures
Maintain sterile field and anticipate surgeon needs
Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
Support complex cardiac cases including open heart procedures

✅ Requirements

CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required
Strong CVOR experience required
Experience with:
- CABG (coronary artery bypass)
- Valve replacements (aortic, mitral)
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Endovascular procedures
Experience with:
- CPB (cardiopulmonary bypass)
- Cardioplegia
- LVAD, IABP, Impella
Experience with inpatient OR settings preferred
