Unit: Emergency Dept
Experience Required: Atleast 2 years of critical care experience (ICU, ER, MS hold) with the most recent year in a Level II ER. Cerner or Epic preferred.
First-time traveler: Yes, with at least 2 years’ experience with Cerner or EPIC experience, and Level II Trauma or higher experience.
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI (nationally recognized/JACHO accepted), NIHSS; TNCC required
Skills Required: Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, picc, midline, port, foley, splint/Ortho device application and care, bipap/hiflow, continuous bladder irrigation
Patient Types: Multi System Trauma (level II), STEMI, STROKE, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatric
Patient Ratios: 1:4 ER, 1:5 MS Holds, 1:3 ICU Holds
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
