Description
Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist
Location: Located in Chinle, AZ 86503
Shift:
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (including weekends and holidays)
- One-hour meal break per shift
- Occasional call-back for emergency staffing needs
Contract Length: 3 months, with the option to extend
Estimated Start Date: Pending Award and Completion of Credentialing Process
Compensation
- Regular Pay Rate: $50 per hour
- Travel weekly stipends: $1,246
- Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis.
Benefits:
- Health and Welfare: $5.09/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week)
- PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service
- Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked
- 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology services in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, exceptional image quality, and compassionate care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of CT and Radiology experience
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience must not include a lapse in employment greater than 6 months
- Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and general X-ray imaging procedures following physician orders
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging exams
- Administer IV contrast and monitor patients during CT procedures
- Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and surgical imaging procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in accordance with department standards
- Follow radiation safety, quality assurance, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
- Perform routine equipment checks and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
