Location:  Ironwood, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed

Schedule

• 4x10-Hour Day Shifts
• Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Variable start times based on surgical schedule:
  • As early as 6:30 AM
  • As late as 8:00–9:00 AM

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN License
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• ADN or BSN Required
• Minimum 2 Years of OR Experience
• Strong Circulating Experience Required
• Pre-Op and Post-Op Experience Required
• PACU Experience Preferred

• 3 Operating Rooms
• 1 Endoscopy Suite
• Epic EMR
• Scrubs Provided

Surgical Cases

Orthopedic Procedures

• Total Knee Replacements
• Total Hip Replacements
• Total Shoulder Replacements
• ORIF Procedures
• Hip Fractures
• I&D Procedures

General Surgery

• Laparoscopic Appendectomy
• Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy
• Laparoscopic Hernia Repairs
• Lesion Removals
• Hemorrhoidectomy

GI Procedures

• EGD
• Colonoscopy

OB/GYN Procedures

• Hysteroscopy
• Hysterectomy
• Laparoscopic Salpingectomy

Additional Specialties

• Cataract Surgery
• Podiatry Procedures (Bunionectomy)

Call Requirements

• 1–2 Weeknight Call Shifts Per Week
• Call begins at end of scheduled shift until 7:00 AM
• Occasional Weekend Call:
  • Friday through Monday 7:00 AM
• Holiday Call Required
• No Scheduled Holiday Shifts

Floating Requirements

Ideal Candidate

Seeking a versatile OR RN with strong circulating skills who is comfortable working throughout the perioperative continuum. Candidates should be adaptable, independent, and confident managing a variety of surgical specialties in a community hospital setting.
