🩺 Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week contract. This role focuses on providing compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a locked inpatient psychiatric unit.
You’ll play a key role in patient safety, crisis intervention, medication administration, and therapeutic care planning in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

⏰ Schedule Details
- Shift: Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Schedule: 3x12s (Weekend Block: Friday–Sunday ONLY)
- Weekly Hours: 36–48 available
- Float: May float to Med-Surg as needed

âś… Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years RN experience (Behavioral Health preferred)
- Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted!)
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- MOAB or CPI
- EMR: Epic (required)

- Behavioral Health/Inpatient Psychiatric Care
- Crisis intervention & de-escalation techniques
- Managing assaultive behavior & safety protocols
- Administering psych medications (antipsychotics, antidepressants, etc.)
- Suicide risk & self-harm monitoring
- Chemical restraints & seclusion protocols
- Substance use and dual-diagnosis care

- Unit Type: Inpatient Behavioral Health (Locked Unit)
- Patient Ratio: 1:7
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Census: ~35 patients | 52 beds
- Unit is split across two floors (2nd & 9th); staff rotate across acuity levels

- 24/7 leadership coverage (Manager/House Supervisor + virtual support)
