Description
Echo Tech (Pediatric Experience Required)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive echocardiograms using a segmental approach in the parasternal, apical, subcostal, and suprasternal notch windows.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently, utilizing controls such as TGC, focus, and gain settings to optimize image quality.
- Select appropriate transducers based on patient anatomy and diagnostic requirements.
- Obtain and document patient history, physical assessment findings, and relevant clinical information.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Demonstrate experience and proficiency in performing pediatric echocardiograms.
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree in Ultrasound (Required)
Certifications Required
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) OR
- CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) – Echocardiography
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
