Travel CVICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a cardiac surgery program in Reston, VA.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN License
- ACLS Certification
- 1-2 years of recent experience recovering fresh cardiac surgery patients with direct primary recovery responsibilities
Advanced Skills Preferred:
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
- Impella device experience
- Hemosphere and/or Acumen monitoring system experience
- Strong hemodynamic monitoring skills
Unit Highlights:
- New Cardiac Surgery Program Launch
- High-acuity cardiovascular critical care environment
- Opportunity to work closely with a growing cardiac surgery team
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in post-operative cardiac surgery recovery
- Comfortable managing complex cardiovascular patients
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
Team-oriented and adaptable in a developing program setting
