Schedule & Requirements

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Start Date: Approximately 3 weeks from offer
• EMR: Cerner / Soarian
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• Possible floating to Step-Down/IMCU or CPU
• No travel pairs accepted
• Compliance deadline is one week before start date

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Strong experience with:
  • Ventilator Management
  • Continuous IV Sedation
  • ICP Monitoring
  • Swan-Ganz / Pulmonary Artery Lines
  • Balloon Pumps (IABP)
  • Dysrhythmia Interpretation and Management
  • Telemetry Monitoring
  • IV Starts
  • Critical Drips

Required Certifications

✔ Active RN License (required before hire)
✔ BLS Certification
✔ ACLS Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and advanced respiratory support
• Monitor ICP devices and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Manage critical drips including Levophed, Cardene, Vasopressin, Amiodarone, Propofol, Precedex, and Heparin
• Participate in Code Blue and Rapid Response/CAT calls
• Perform IV starts and lab draws
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures
• Care for STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke, trauma, respiratory failure, and post-cardiac arrest patients
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner/Soarian
