Schedule & Requirements

• Position: Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech)
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (± 30 minutes)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
• Local Radius Restriction: Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Required Experience

• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology OR completion of a formal Surgical Technology Program
• On-the-job training only candidates will not be accepted
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a busy surgical setting
• Strong experience in at least 3–4 of the following specialties:

✔ Robotics (Da Vinci XI) – Strong experience required
✔ General Surgery (Robotic & Open)
✔ Orthopedics (Fractures & Total Joints)
✔ ENT (Pediatrics, T&A, BMT, Thyroid, Neck, Ear, Sinus Procedures)
✔ Vascular (Carotid, AAA, Hybrid & Open Procedures)
✔ GYN (Robotic & Open)
✔ Urology (Robotic & Open)

Preferred
✔ Dental Procedures
✔ Plastic Surgery Procedures

Required Certifications

✔ BLS Certification
✔ CST Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Function as the scrub technologist during surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Anticipate surgeon needs and organize instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• Assist with patient positioning and transport
• Handle and manage surgical specimens
• Support robotic, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, GYN, and urology procedures
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques
• Assist with surgical counts and room preparation
