Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Setting: Correctional Healthcare

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Compensation:

Local Pay

• Starting at $61/hr

Travel Package (50+ Miles)

• Taxable Hourly (W2): $30/hr
• Tax-Free Weekly Stipends: $1,442
• Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,642

Requirements:

• Active California RN License
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background requirements

Position Overview:

California Health Care Facility (CHCF) is a state correctional healthcare facility that provides comprehensive medical, mental health, and specialty care services to incarcerated patients. RNs work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centered care in a structured clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary staff
• Respond to medical emergencies and urgent patient needs
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with facility policies
• Promote patient safety and continuity of care
