Contract Details

• First-Time Travelers Not Accepted (strong candidates may be considered)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Required Certifications

• BLS
• California State Laboratory License

Preferred Certifications

• ASCP Certification

Schedule & Requirements

• No on-call requirement.
• Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend based on department needs.
• Floating required between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach facilities.
• Block scheduling available at manager discretion.
• Pending licenses not accepted.
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
• Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to local rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in Blood Bank, Hematology, and Chemistry departments.
• Support trauma and emergency transfusion needs, including massive transfusion protocols.
• Ensure accurate specimen analysis, documentation, and quality control.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care.
