Ready to bring your expertise to students in the heart of Maryland? Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team in Bel Air, MD, and make a meaningful impact during the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Overview: 

• Provide itinerant TVI and consultative services to students with visual impairments across K-12 campuses.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver direct instruction in Braille, screen readers, low vision aids, and compensatory skills.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and access to the curriculum.
• Coordinate with school teams to manage caseload needs, including scheduling, progress updates, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Education, Visual Impairments, or Special Education
• Active Maryland Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting providing direct and consultative services; Braille proficiency strongly preferred
