Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Sylva, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, Wednesday through Friday
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed

Job Summary

• Backfill position in a fully accredited 86-bed acute care hospital.
• Operating Room specialty with a 7-bed OR unit.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.
• Equipment used includes Hana table, trauma table, enseal, myosure, novasure, kabtec, and neoprobe.
• Electronic Health Record system: Paragon.
• Call requirements: Yes, part of a designated call team covering PTO days only.
• Scrubs provided as dress code.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Skills and Experience

• Must have experience with C-Sections, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, ENT (pediatric and adult), Pain management, and Pediatric Dental procedures.

Additional Notes

• Weekend hours not required.
• No float requirements.
• Call is limited to covering PTO days only.
