Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
Charting System: Epic

🩺 Patient Population

Adults & Geriatrics
Diagnoses include: Diabetes, HTN, CAD, CVA, TIA, Seizures, CRD

👥 Interdisciplinary Support

Physical Therapy • Respiratory • Phlebotomy • Pharmacy • Social Services • Rapid Response Team • Unit Secretary

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry environment
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Manage IVs, central lines, PICC lines
Administer medications and cardiac drips (non-titrated)
Deliver respiratory care (HFNC, trach, O2 therapy)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

🧪 Skills & Experience

Telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation
IV therapy & blood administration
Wound care, chest tubes
Cardiac & renal patient care
Pre/Post cardiac procedures

✅ Requirements

Must-Have:

2+ years MS/Tele RN experience
Active SC or Compact RN License (in hand before start)
BLS & ACLS from AHA (Required)
Strong telemetry competency

Preferred:

NIHSS
Charge experience
Community hospital experience

📅 Scheduling & Policies

Weekend: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes, within scope
Call: None
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
RTO: Must be included at submission
