Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric Med Surg/Telemetry patients.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias.
Care for post-heart catheterization patients.
Administer medications and blood products safely.
Manage central lines, PICC lines, ports, and peripheral IVs.
Perform wound care and wound vac management.
Follow heparin protocols and manage cardiac drips (non-titrating).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Social Services.
Float to similar units when required based on census needs.

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN License.
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.
BLS Certification.
ACLS Certification.
NIHSS Certification.
Experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, oxygen administration, line management, and post-procedure patient care.

Required Qualifications: Active Tennessee RN License. Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience. Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification.
