Description
RN Cath Lab – Travel Assignment
Position/Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella devices, atherectomy devices, cardiac medication drips, and emergency medications.
- STEMI experience is required.
- Minimum of 18 months of RN experience prior to travel assignments required; 2 years of experience preferred.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Certifications Required:
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS
- AHA or American Red Cross ACLS
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: Next available orientation date (typically 3–4 weeks from offer acceptance)
- Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hours/week for 3x12-hour shifts
- 40 hours/week for 8- or 10-hour shifts
- Floating: Travelers may be required to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.
- Block Scheduling: Not available.
- On-Call Requirement: Evening and weekend call coverage required.
Additional Information:
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
- Travelers should be aware that required onboarding modules include time-sensitive assignments that must be completed promptly upon confirmation. Delays may impact the start date.

Cons
Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
