We’re seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Billings, MT. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room, assisting in life-saving procedures alongside a skilled surgical team.

Start Date: July 20, 2026
End Date: October 17, 2026 (13 weeks)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Shift: Variable (days/nights/weekends as needed)
On-Call: Required (may occur during scheduled shifts)

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Perform scrub duties and maintain strict sterile technique in CVOR cases
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs
Prepare and organize case carts per physician preference cards
Ensure availability of instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures
Perform accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments
Handle specimens and prepare them for laboratory analysis
Maintain and care for surgical instruments and equipment
Assist with room turnover, cleaning, and restocking supplies
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
Float to other departments as needed within scope

✅ Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
At least 1 year of CVOR (cardiovascular) scrubbing experience (Required)
BLS Certification (AHA Required)
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
(Military training may substitute)
High School Diploma or GED
